Melissa Northrup

Melissa graduated from Bible college and then spent the summer of 2005 on an internship in Thailand. It was during that time God created within her a passion for the Thai people. In time, it became clear that God was opening the door for her to return to Thailand, and in September 2006, Melissa affiliated with NMSI.

Melissa has been in Thailand since October 2008 and has been focusing her efforts on learning the Thai language, building relationships with the Thai people, and becoming acclimated to the Thai culture. In the summer of 2008, Melissa will begin to teach English part-time with LIFE (Lanna Institute for English) while also continuing to spend her time and effort in learning more of the Thai language.

Melissa is thrilled to be in Thailand where God is teaching her and stretching her in so many ways!
