Ashleigh Leenerts
 Ashleigh grew up in rural Illinois and connected with NMSI through an internship in the summer of 2002 while attending Lincoln Christian College. Following graduation from Illinois State University in December of 2004, Ashleigh began working full-time with NMSI in Fort Myers. From 2005-2008 she served as the Director of Human Resources and helped develop the Community, Orientation, Assessment, and Training program at NMSI’s Center for Global Outreach (CGO) in Fort Myers, FL.
Ashleigh is currently serving as the Team Leader in Narok, Kenya, with NMSI's ministry, AfricaHope. AfricaHope equips local Christians and existing churches to attend to the needs in their communities, including care for orphans and street children, HIV/health education, food and water security, school partnerships for better education in rural areas, education development and training for women and pastors within the churches.
