Andrea *

Andrea grew up in rural Kentucky as the older of two children and the daughter of loving parents. At an early age, she was intrigued by far away lands and the cultures within them. She never dreamed that God would use those childhood fascinations for His glory.
As a high school student, Andrea went on her first mission trip to Jamaica. That experience awoke within her a peace and assurance that this was His will for her life. In reaction, she attended Johnson Bible College in pursuit of a Missions and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) degree. She spent a summer in Moscow, Russia and it was through this experience that she discovered a love for the city and its people. She graduated in 2007.
Andrea moved to Moscow in June of 2008 and is currently in language study. While learning Russian, she is also involved in relationship ministry with students and young professionals. These relationships are built and maintained through English camps, clubs, cafes, Bible studies, small groups, and meetings with individuals. Andrea desires to be a witness in all that she does; in a far away land, but near to the heart of God.
