Jen Strauser
Jen grew up all over the United States and abroad as an military kid, so this gave her a global vision from the beginning. She graduated from Purdue University in 1996 with a degree in Aviation Management and worked in the professional world for about 9 years.
It was during a project to South Africa in 2005 that God helped Jen to see what she could not see before. She experienced people. Yes, the poverty was great, but her heart turned to their eyes and not their situation. She will never forget that God-moment.
She was introduced to NMSI at the National Missionary Convention in November 2005. God opened her heart to see how He was using NMSI missionaries around the world to share His love with those who are hurting and lost.
She affiliated with NMSI in January 2006. Jen’s heart is that all nations know the love of Christ in a practical, physical way. She is based at NMSI’s Center for Global Outreach (CGO) in Ft Myers, FL, and is focused on ministering to the needs of our missionaries worldwide. This ministry includes planning retreats and seminars for missionary renewal, as well as organizing participation in national conventions and conferences and recruiting others to have God’s heart for the nations.
Jen is praying about future involvement overseas and waiting for God to open doors to send her. Until then, she believes that God has her in the US to minister to her missionary friends worldwide.
