There are 6,912 distinct languages in the world. 438 of them have complete Bibles. Think that there's a discrepancy here?

Erin does. With the New Year (2009), Erin moved to Dallas to begin working on a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics and get additional training from Pioneer Bible Translators, the aptly named missions organization that she is secunding to. Once her training is complete, she will deploy to one of the Bible-less people groups of the world to help translate the word of God into an accessible, meaningful form.

For those interested in trivia, Erin joined NMSI in 2002 after graduating from the University of Evansville with a B.A. in Biblical Studies. She served as NMSI's Director of Video for two years while learning about global missions and investigating opportunities. In early 2004, she deployed to Malawi (that's in Africa, folks) to serve a three-year term working with ongoing NMSI ministries that are doing church planting and church development in the country.
Erin enjoys board games, hiking, reading, star gazing, and scuba diving and her favorite authors would be C.S. Lewis, Dante, Bradbury, Homer... and a few others. She likes all animals except for bees and Doberman pinschers. She is also currently the CGO's reigning Triopoly champion.
