What about health insurance?
For the duration of COAT it is required that you provide your own health insurance coverage. Please arrange to stay on your current insurance plan or take out a temporary/short-term plan. If you are unable to attain health insurance, please contact the COAT Director to discuss this further.
Do I need to change car insurance coverage?
You should check with your current car insurance company to make sure that they cover
Florida residents.
If you are staying here for three months or less then you will not be officially changing residency to
Florida.
VEHICLES
Do I need to bring a car?
There are NMSI owned vehicles available for use while living in this community. Some community residents choose to bring their personal cars to Ft. Myers, but it is not necessary.
