International Operations Division
The International Operations Division (IOD) is comprised of three departments: Field Operations, Mobilization and CGO Services.
Our desire is to contribute to the preparation, placement, and support of NMSI personnel, as well as to mobilize and provide resourcing to them and those we partner with globally, so together we may have God-honoring, fulfilling, and effective ministries.
Field Operations
The Field Operations Department seeks to provide guidance, support, and resourcing that will contribute toward the effectiveness of NMSI personnel and their ministries globally. Among other things, this includes field reporting and field visits, field advising/advisors, and crisis management.
Mobilization Department
The Mobilization Department seeks to facilitate and/or contribute to ‘strategic partnerships’ that result in transforming communities, and in the emergence of self-sustaining and reproducing Jesus-following communities globally. In addition, it strives to provide churches globally with access to the missions resources they need to discover and accomplish the vision God desires for them. Among other things, this includes: strategic P\partnerships, transformational/community development, Business As Mission (BAM), and missions resourcing.
CGO Services
The CGO Services Departmenthas the responsibility of providing relevant and appropriate assistance to CGO-based activities and ministries that contribute to the preparation, placement, and support of NMSI personnel for effective ministries globally. Among other things, this includes: missionary assessment/field placement, pre-deployment tracking, COAT Liaison for the IOD, CGO Contacts, administrative services, and web monitoring.
