Andy and Ginny Gross

Andy Gross grew up in Iowa and attended Lincoln Christian College in Lincoln, IL, for bi-vocational missions. As part of the degree, he went to trade school for mechanics in Laramie, WY, in 1998. Before he came to NMSI, he worked in Bloomington as a mechanic at a Cadillac dealership for four years. He met Phil Hudson and others at the National Missionary Convention in 2002 and clearly felt God calling him to join NMSI. Andy served at the Center for Global Outreach (CGO) for five years as the Facilities Manager over the office building, several campus houses and community vehicles. He also led the guy's Bible study on campus and helped lead worship at the CGO.

In 2006, Andy started serving as the field advisor for an NMSI missionary couple working in Memphis, TN, ministering to families enduring childhood cancer or life-threatening illness. The ministry is called Habitat for Hope (HFH). Andy traveled to Memphis several times for various short-term building projects, and eventually knew this was the next place God wanted him to serve. He began full-time work in January 2008 and married his wife Ginny in April 2008. Ginny is a nurse at St. Jude's Research Hospital and has served overseas in medical missions on many short term projects. Andy serves HFH through pastoral care for families with cancer, building development and leading events on the HFH property.
