What will my schedule be like during COAT?
Plan on being in class during the day from 8 am to 5 pm (some days you will finish with classes before 5). There will be optional and mandatory activities during a few weeknights and weekends are mostly free (there are mandatory activities during the first weekend).

What will my child's schedule look like?
As part of the COAT program, your child will be involved in learning concepts which will help them be better prepared as your family moves toward life as missionaries. Their daily schedule will focus on learning the core values of NMSI and involvement in community life at the CGO and will be led by our staff.

What is Discover NMSI?
Discover NMSI is the first 3 ½ days of COAT. During Discover NMSI we discuss the core values of NMSI--who we are and what we believe. There are also aspects of Discover that will feel like a spiritual retreat with worship & prayer times as well as times for self-discovery. Discover is held at a location away from the NMSI CGO (Center for Global Outreach) at a retreat center and is open to supporters of NMSI, church missions committee members or other church members, or anyone interested in learning more about who NMSI is. All COAT participants attend Discover NMSI.
