Joy Cronin

Joy grew up in a mission-focused church and participated on her first short-term project in high school where she fell in love with Latin American culture and the Spanish language. She worked alongside veteran missionaries in Panama while leading a short-term project in 2005. During her second project in Panama, she committed to join the work that God was doing there. After much prayer and searching, God led Joy to NMSI where she affiliated in Fall 2007.

Since April 2008, Joy has been ministering in David, Panama. She is focused on building a campus ministry at the agriculture university. She teaches English classes as well as helping facilitate a Bible study on campus. Joy is also active with the women's and youth ministry in the local church. She supports the churches in the Ngobe indigenous region through providing monthly Sunday School material as well as helping facilitate short-term projects.
