Joanne Cadwallader

Joanne grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and attended Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri . After becoming a Christian through Campus Christian Fellowship, she attended the National Missionary Convention in 2001, where she was first introduced to NMSI. During the summer of 2002, she completed an internship with NMSI to Honduras. It was her first time out of the country! Several years of praying about her future involvement in missions passed as she completed her B. A. in English, her Masters in Elementary Education and taught kindergarten. On a trip to Peru in the summer of 2007, Joanne was reminded just how alive and purposeful mission work made her feel. Shortly after her time in Peru, she began the affiliation process with NMSI and completed COAT in the summer of 2008. Joanne is currently serving in the Media Division at the Center for Global Outreach (CGO) as she discerns what country and what type of ministry God is calling her to in the future. For now, she is investing herself at the CGO, designing prayer cards, newsletters, brochures and more to aid missionaries in their support raising efforts and to help tell the story of what God is doing around the world! Her long term plans revolve around ministry overseas with Hispanic children.
